Rogo Scott has hired Andy Layton to increase its ability to deliver larger projects and programmes of work.
Layton joins the project and consultancy services provider having led programme management activities across operational and technical delivery for a wide range of leading media, telecoms and logistics companies.
“As the number and the size of the projects we are delivering for clients and our roles expand from project or workstream activities to overall responsibilities for programmes of work it was clear that we need to identify people who had demonstrated an ability to work at that level and preferably within our space in the media industry so when the opportunity to hire Andy presented itself it was a perfect fit.” said Peter Cook, partner and COO, Rogo Scott.
Having worked alongside Rogo Scott employees at previous companies such as the BBC and UKTV, Layton was known to the team but the breadth of his experience in multiple sectors and territories was an added bonus and will be instrumental in the growth of the company.
He said: “I look forward to hitting the ground running taking on responsibility for some of the larger existing programmes of work but also hope to be able to contribute to some of the smaller strategic engagements where our clients are still trying to establish their roadmaps in areas I have delivered for similar companies.”
